I like Joe. Wish him all good but he react bad to his fame and "five minutes". He start being little douche...

End of the day poor situation. If he will wait he will be attack title shots.
Only consolation for him is that he will be looking same bad or even worse vs Usyk. That will be 50% speed advantage xD

Fury will not attend that party , like he did against Ustinov , seeing him in person.

It's crazy how Zhang emerged now as the biggest threat to the top guys. I could see him giving Wilder, AJ, and Fury fits.

A Wilder fight would be the biggest fireworks in boxing. How does wilder avoid Zhang coming forward and landing at will with his bad footwork. And then again, how does Zhang's chin react to flush rights? That's an intriguing fight.

AJ gets obliterated against Zhang, I'm sorry, and I don't see him taking this fight unless he has to if Zhang became the champ. AJ moves more now but that hesitancy won't get Zhang off him.

Before we get carried away with Zhang destroying Fury, we have to remember that Fury is a great mover and has good stamina. The problem is he had issues with another lefty who hit him when he wanted. Fury has really let himself go now looking like his pops in the mid sectuon. That's playing with fire. But a sharp Fury, in decent shape beats Zhang.

Forgot prime Ustinov was shamelessly ducked by Fury.

Joyce leaving left hand at his waist is a bad idea.

Oh I fully agree that last killer Zhang punch was a 'send you to the shadow realm ' type of punch. Kinda reminisant of a peak heavy Foreman punch, it gets your attention when hit brutally clean.

Not wanting to take anything away from Zhang's thunder tonight, he bloody brought it, no arguments from me. What a 40 yro fighter he is!, sublime mate.

But I do think Joe has aged and slipped overnight. Had he fought Parker or Dubois in a re-match tonight I think he loses, mate. Honestly.

    Time's time...

    Just my opinion.

    1. They never should've taken the fight, especially given it was a voluntary and Big Joe was already in the mandatory position

    2. They never should've taken the rematch

Yeah, yeah sure AJ gets obliterated by Zhang. Cool story. And that Fury is this mythical H2H beasts, yet he is scared to death and is fighting Chisora and Ngannou level of opponents.
Not to mention the shape he is. And you can bet anything that there ia no comeback this time from being that out of shape, as everyone body has limits.
And Fury quickness is long, long ago.
If a C level fighter like Wallin open him like that, imagine what Zhang will do to his face. Fury cardio is one big myth as well.

And AJ actually knows he can beats Zhang, as he already done it, and also KD him hard in the amateurs.
It's funny reading such posts, as the same was said for Joyce and how hw would have beaten AJ.
AJ footwork, IQ, high guard, defense, speed and power, and jab will give Zhang all kind of problems and AJ actually has the power to hurt Zhang, and can also outbox him.

It's difficult to disagree mate, I'm not sure where he can go from here, a title chance is non existent at this point and yeah he's far removed from the two fights you mentioned, I still think Zhang is just a really bad matchup for him, that was a poor choice of opponent in my book.

Ok, of Joyce has that slow-fast deception, then Zhang has that old-young, fast-fat thing going on.

If you footwork or defense is suspect, he'll clean out your cuckoo clock.
It not the amateurs no more. Yea, anything is possible but I got Zhang at this point. AJ doesn't have the same free aggressive style he once did and struggled with Usyk's lefty style (granted Usyk is much faster) but still. Also AJ didn't do too well against Ruiz's hooks too. We'll see what happens.

    Two things:

    1) That was vicious from Zhang. A beautiful KO.

    2) And not to downplay Zhang who deserves every bit of credit coming his way but when will people stop drinking the Kool Aid on Joyce? He’s very, very average.
