I even put the first fight down to Joyce being off because I had watched Zhang vs Forrest and Lewis and he looked like an old unhealthy carcass with zero tank or skill. I guess that he must have been ill or injured or both because he looked nothing like that guy last night vs Joyce

Fury or Usyk SHOULD be able to take him apart in different fashions - but will they take the fight?

But at the same time Joyce looked like a real fraud in there and was definitely going to get knocked out anyway. Mentally looked like he didn't want to be in there either. At the time it did appear that Joyce looked to be a top 3 heavyweight after he handily defeated Dubois and Parker, second best heavyweight probably a stretch.

 

It's unbelievable that he's learned no technical boxing in all them years in the sport.
No one and I literally mean no fully functioning person no matter how geeky and un sporty can learn and pick up so little boxing technique. I've got to say, the coaches need to be held accountable to some degree.

 

Psychologically though this will be tough to get over. Losing is one thing but to lose like that for a guy who trades on his toughness and durability can affect him.

Why would AJ fight Zhang without a belt? What has he got to gain?

 

My point exactly. Not saying AJ can’t or won’t win but it has to be worth his while in fact for both men with a belt on the line and mega bucks. The one thing AJ would need to utilise is his superior athleticism. Zhang is a really good boxer with fast hands and power a bit like Andy Ruiz Jr but bigger and better.

@Wizbit1013 and @Rumsfeld in a funny way Zhang is as awkward for Joe Joyce as Joe Joycevhas been for his other opponents. I think as these match ups were voluntary they will look back on them as stupid match making.

 

LMAO Joyce is a massive hype job, his resume is **** and people actually thought he'd beat Fury.
