    Career suicide taking that rematch.

Sometimes in boxing you just find a guy stylistically you can't beat. Wilder found that out as did AJ and many other before them. They don't learn.

He may as well retire now at 38 he's done, punch resistance will only get worse from here.

Brutal finish. Get zhang in with joshua next. Great fight would be a very good win for either.

Joyce should come back....hes clearly not as good as he,s been billed on here but i think zhangs styles killed him. Hes still a nightmare for some fighters.

Joe Joyce should be applauded by us Brits for taking the rematch against a hard hitting Chinaman but I feel once his face was smashed up, he would never be the same again.

Gave us some good nights and had a decent pro career and no shame in falling short.

Frank Warren watched a different fight, at no point did Joyce look like he was in this, the first round was nothing, in the second he started getting caught

Automatic rematches will only ever work in favour of the loser if they are capable of outboxing the winner of the first fight. You can legislate for surprise knockout defeats or narrow points defeats. When someone has been absolutely bludgeoned and dominated and severely punished it’s beyond lunacy to go straight into a rematch.

Joyce isn’t ‘finished’ yet in the sport. He’s still in a handy position where he’s a name and easy to beat by the big boys. Sane manger as Fury too so that fight will always be easy to make. Likewise it’s an easy fight to sell him against Joshua too.

Nope. As a bloke that wants to become a world champion, he's definitely finished.

It’s like the Tony Thompson/David Price situation all over again. Minus the questionable post fight interview.
