He's beaten some good boxers, but he indeed does need to take on Usyk, Hrgovic, Zhang, I agree. But he's the champ atm

Usyk holds 3 of the 4 belts.

Like I've said before, if Wilder who telegraphs the **** out of his punches can get him down four times across two separate fights, yeah, Zhang can too, and he's measured enough to successfully follow up on it. Not saying it'd be a guarantee to happen, but Fury would need to be at his absolute best for every second of every round. I'm talking a performance akin to Wilder 2, except for 12 whole rounds because I doubt he'd be able to knock out Zhang like he did Wilder. It's true Zhang doesn't have a tank for a full 12 rounds, but the man buzzed Hrgovic in round 11 when he was running on fumes, and Hrgovic has got a great chin. Fury's chin is alright, but his big thing isn't his ability to take big punches, but to avoid them and how he recovers when they do land.

Also worth noting, Fury was kept busy by Wallin for 11 rounds and then got buzzed badly at the beginning of 12, to a point he never really recovered and just spent the rest of the round using his size to tie him up and smother him. Doubt he'd have as much success with that tactic against a 270-280 pound Zhang.

Again though, I wouldn't guarantee it would happen. It's not unreasonable Fury could box him to a wide decision. But he could not slip up for even a second without the risk of some serious punishment.

One of these days he will no longer have 'IT'. He's gotta fight and stop playing around or retire.

Kidding aside im still picking a well trained fury. Fury may go down a few times but he has exceptional recovery and that has been proven. We also dont know how good zhang's chin is either. Fury definitely has better footwork and head movement than joyce.

If Fury still has the speed and reflexes near that of the first two Wilder fights, it will be very hard for the chinese to land on him.
People should go watch him dodge shots from Wilder again over and over in that first fight. Wilder has very fast hands for a SHW.

But if Fury is fat and sluggish, and has that kronk idiot telling him to be the big dog, sure he could get clipped.

Just don't compare Fury to Joyce defensively, they're on the opposite parts of the spectrum.

The Wilder fights have distorted things a bit because Wilder is very quick anyway, but also Fury brawled him the second two fights, so was in the firing line. In the first fight if he had just boxed safely in the final round he wouldn't have been put down, and admitted that he stood in front of Wilder too long there. So he only would have been dropped once and round the back of the head, a weird punch.
When he boxes defensively he is very hard to hit.

More talk from another Fury fan. You aren't embarrassed supporting Fury? Fury fans once claimed that he was a real fighting man. Can you still make that claim? As I said before, if Fury want to fight MMA guys for millions, good for him, just don't hold up the entire heavyweight division to do it. He literally could have had such a good run of title defenses when he beat Vlad, instead he squandered it. He could have damn near 15 title defenses. Beaten AJ and be setting up a huge fight with Usyk. A real waste.

It’s difficult to understand what Fury is attempting to do as a boxer at this point. You can see he is now extremely cautious in terms of taking any challengers on.

He will probably call Zhang an unknown bum who doesn’t deserve a title shot if asked about him. That is how he has approached the Usyk question.

Eventually he will be an example of when cherry picks go wrong. As you can see the man has lost the hunger, that is a dangerous place to be as a HW.

Let’s see where he is at once he has finished his nice easy exhibition fight against a wrestler.

Fury doesn't want any part of a southpaw. In fact, he doesn't want any part of a real fighter.
