This time by Mike Mollo 2.0 - another American jorneyman Joey Abell.

    Abell KO'd Zimnoch in 3rd.

Maybe it's time to think about retirement?

He's a Polish heavyweight, what did you expect?

I'd love to see Abell vs. Price!

That's a case of truly awful matchmaking. They went with Abell because he was a southpaw - like Szpilka (Zimnoch & Szpilka were supposed to fight in December, but now both lost), but his style is nothing like Szpilka's. Mollo was a nightmare for Zimnoch at times and Abell was like his better version. Just look at Joey. At 36 (!) he's in his prime. He never looked better, he is ripped like never before. In his 30s he gained 15lbs of pure muscles in just 12 months. Look how chubby he looked with Pulev, Fury and other fights. Also check how his skin tone changed through last months. It's all screaming one thing and you know what thing that is.

The fight itself was weird. Abell was like a tank - he never cared what was coming back, just went with his best shots. Zimnoch got caught early and I'm surprised that he was able to take those bombs. But he got caught and lost his gameplan. Trading with a tank was never a good idea. This version of Abell is dangerous to every heavyweight on the planet, guy can knock you out with both hands. Damn scary if you think about it.

Szpilka vs. Zimnoch now makes sense for both.

In a way - yeah. The winner gets everything, the loser has no boxing future. But I doubt this will happen soon.
