This dude has been calling out rigondeaux, name dropping and using his name to con the fans, after being offered the fight with rigondeuax tete turns it down because rigo is too big for him? tete has a 6 inch height advantage over rigo and a 7 inch reach advantage, These MF's are scared to death of the small cuban
Nah wasn't it loma who said no to a catch weight? rigo has no business fighting a guy who'll end up at 140, loma has salido problems still and top rank are protecting loma from gamboa who would teat him up
Rigo is not the right color for the media to cover him being ducked nowadays. That privilege is reserved for white guys. There is no such thing as someone fearing a black or Latino fighter, but everyone fears the big bad white man. So says that maggot diabetes Dan, Steve "the slant eyed tranny" Kim, professed self hater Doug Fischer.
I've been on the Tete bandwagon for a good long while. This is very disappointing, and I didn't think I'd see it out of him. The dude is 5'9. I think the bump up from 118 to 122 wouldn't exactly leave him bloated. He's got nearly a half foot of height and 4 inches of reach on Rigo.
They offered him a low amount of money, considering he would of been taking on one of the most talent fighter in boxing in my opinion
Those recent articles selectively quoted Tete's original interview from back in February. In the whole interview from back in February, Tete did state that he would love to challenge Rigondeaux, but he also stated in the same interview that he has business to finish at 115, and then at 118, and that he would get a strength coach or something to move up in weight and become more powerful, do it the right way. He also reiterated that he would fight Rigondeaux or whoever is the champ at the time at 122. I don't blame him for declining Rigondeaux right now. Tete is a 115 pounder, that is getting screwed around by Frank W@rren right now. He KO'd W@rren's cabin boy Paul Butler, and as punishment W@rren signed Tete, and then moved him up to 118, making him fight bums, instead of giving him the eliminator at 115 to fight Inoue. While then trying to position the KO'd Butler into that eliminator, of which he didn't even make the weight.
You guys are a bit harsh on Tete. Don't ignore that fact that Tete beat Butler at 115 to earn the eliminator against Inoue. W@rren moved Tete to 118 so that he could position Butler in the eliminator instead. Tete is still a 115 pounder. W@rren has just been forcing him to fight at 118 against bums to keep him out of Butler's way. Tete moving up yet again, is a bad move. He still makes 115 comfortably. He should be allowed to make his name at 115 by smooshing Inoue, and Chocolatito, and then moving to 118 and making his name there as well before moving on to 122.
You wouldn't ask Paul Williams to move up to 175 to fight Ward or Kovalev, so what sense does it make for Tete to move up to 122 and fight Rigondeaux? A guy as tall and gangly as Tete would be better served growing into the weight class naturally. He wouldn't be in optimum fighting condition carrying extra weight he is not used to having on fight night.
Sorry bro but's thats absolute nonsense, and no the interview was only last week, it's on *******, warren offered tete the fight with rigo and tete flat out refused says he's too small, yet he's 5 foot 9, and rigo is 5 foot 3, it's a joke, like alot of guys it's pretty clear he's just using rigo's name, rigo could also meet him at 118 what would tete excuse be then
carrying extra weight? he's heavier on fight night than rigo is, what the hell are you talking about? tete has been calling out rigo who is a natural bantamweight and who can even make 118, stop making excuses and take this L please
so why are top rank protecting loma from gamboa? salido schooled loma already and i think gamboa would outclass loma
