Zolani Tete injured, withdraws from fight with Donaire

    According to Mike Coppinger. Apparently Tete suffered a shoulder injury and has withdrew the WBSS semi finals vs Donaire. Donaire could still fight this weekend against a late replacement. Donaire vs Tete could possibly be rescheduled.
    Well...this sucks.

    As a fan of both guys and the tournament itself, this friggin sucks.

    Gutted for Tete, who needed this kind of platform and was my favorite to make the finals from that side of the bracket

    Do I smell a....COWARD? Thought it was only the heavyweight division that has those, but seems not. This era of fighters are a disgrace. Wilder, a ducker. Ortiz, a ducker. Kownacki, a ducker. Tete, a ducker. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I'm sure I'll be adding to the list as the days go on because it's becoming beyond ridiculous. I know people aren't keen on Khan but at least he doesn't sprint into the sunset as soon as he sees a challenge.

    I mean...look. If he's injured, he's injured. But we'll never know because it's his shoulder and he can easily fake it.
