Momma Mia!!!!!! Came in reckless and met the right hook. A replay would have been courteous, instead we got ol fisheyes babbling at the end

But wait who did they say is trained by Adam Booth????????

Great punch. Walked onto it cold and paid the price.

Just embarrassing though. If I was the opponent I'd just quit boxing. How can you be knocked out cold that quick?

We have seen some serious Glass Jaws shattered in 2017, this is right up there with the worst.

Damn. Replays start at about the 8:35 mark. They gonna get somebody killed putting green, up and comers in with Tete. He's the real deal. A shame Warren moved him up from 115. At the time, Tete said he was still making the weight comfortably.

Not really man. What do you expect when you put a green prospect in with a world class champion? Warren, and WBO should be ashamed of this match up. Gonya is 25 years old, with only 12 fights under his belt. He hadn't yet stepped up to decent regional African opposition, let alone world class opposition, and he gets put in with a guy who is probably the best fighter from 115 to 122 at the moment. Tete could have killed him in the ring.

6 years a pro and never been ok before and ranked 3 for the belt. Yes it is an easy defence but not really green and up and coming.

Damn, yeah, didn't know he was a pro for six years, especially when he only had 12 fights coming in. I don't know how to characterize him, outside of saying he's probably a bum. Looking at his ledger, he's fought sporadically against cans. Fight didn't last long enough to even see whether he had any boxing skills. Just shows the corruption of the WBO.

The vast majority of the local competition those South African boxers face is trash. The only way to tell what they have is when they face a ranked guy from another country, or face a countrymen whose fought ranked foreign opposition. Like Ali Funeka when he was in his prime was a solid top 10 guy. He fought and held his own with known commodities. He got shafted on the cards against Nate Campbell, and then got shafted again vs Juan Guzman. Or like N'Dou the guy whose brain injury was aggravated by the beating that Floyd gave him. He had at least fought a couple ranked guys, that Freitas, Casamayor and Floyd had fought, and beat them down. Somebody like Gonya or whatever the hell his name was. That wasn't safe for him to get hit like that.

Feel for Gonya there.. didn't even get to throw a punch. Totally didn't expect that hook coming in like that at all.
The combo punch then hitting the back of his head on the mat had him literally out. Sweet hook by Tete though.. the way he turned it was textbook.
