That couldn’t sum it up more perfectly honestly lol. Also there seems to be stretches where things go completely normal and nothing out of the ordinary happens, then you get crazy **** like Pokémon’s last two fights and a bunch of other absurd things that have happened in the last 3-4 months

They both sucked ass, but it was close only in that Catterall could only win 7 rounds, not one of those fights that could have went either way. Davies is delusional, probably a good thing he retired. He was never gonna get over that Taylor trouncing at the height of his popularity when he talked all that ****, then caught a savage beating, proof of that he still Talks about and brings up Taylor today. Basically a less talented, Adrian Broner same fragile mentality.

Yeah, I agree with every word. He's definitely delusional he was trying to justify not throwing his right hand pretty much the entire fight, citing it being a dangerous sport and how his ultra cautious tactics (both of them were way too cautious) spared him from taking any punishment.

For a while Mateo Damián Verón & Sergio José Sanders were like twin poster boys for the "Argentinian chaos phenomenon", as like co-nexuses for all the strangeness. Horrible records and low KO percentages but somehow incredibly dangerous for good prospects and guys you just can't sleep on. The latter popped Billi Godoy's cherry (in a rematch after having been knocked out by him) and lost a UD to Jorge Sebastian Heiland. Verón meanwhile split a pair of MD's with Heiland and drew with him and then got kayoed twice in their fourth and fifth encounters...and lost a UD to Godoy. They both got off the canvas to beat Alejandro Falliga (with Sanders also drawing with him). Even their own h2h rivalry was bizarre, with a headbutt TD after 3 rounds followed by Verón scoring a last minute TKO in an eight round war.

Anyone accepting the John Rawling challenge? Take a shot every time he says "great right hand" and unless the fight is a complete stinker you'll be comatose by round 3.

    Magomed Kurbanov vs. Juan Rodriguez
    Round 1: 10-9

Kurbanov sharp, picking his shots carefully but already showing his power and speed. Rodriguez hiding behind a high guard throwing some wild shots Kurbanov is easily avoiding. He is doubling and tripling the jab, Rodriguez isn't throwing much and if he is missing them wide. Best shot of the round was probably a right uppercut by Kurbanov, Rodriguez pressuring for the last couple of seconds but Kurbanov avoiding all shots and lands a solid counter right.

    Magomed Kurbanov vs. Juan Rodriguez
    Round 1: 10-9
    Round 2: 10-9

Kurbanov throwing fantastic body shots opening the head to land a bigh right, Rodriguez still looking wild and nervous, his guard is tight in front of his face. Rodriguez lands a good uppercut, Kurbanov answers with a smile and lands another huge right. Kurbanov dominating this but Rodriguez doesn't look hurt at all. Better round from Rodriguez overall, he lands two or three good shots.
