Round 1

Yiran is slinging in right hands roundhouse behind a quick double or triple jab, using the Dempsey shift to cut down the space between them and surprise Tejones with juggernaut momentum and chopping blows at short range. Tejones is switching his stance as needed while circling away looking to sprinkle in counters, favoring the southpaw 1-2 but sometimes trying it orthodox with his body quickly twisted around in a defensive position converted into counter-offensive. Lots of nervous energy from Yiran, feet constantly rubbing against the canvas, kicking out in every direction, never still.

Round 2

Yiran is having a very hard time with the Filipino's switch-hitting, completely thrown off by Tejones simply executing a quick swap of his lead and rear feet while stepping laterally, then flicking a left jab into the face. Yiran throwing wild rights into the guard, some bashing through and partially connecting on the face and backing Tejones up. Counter 1-2 by Tejones, the left cross visibly stunning Yiran. Good movement by Tejones, constantly getting himself into position to counter, making smart use of ducks & leans. VICIOUS exchange before the bell, leather getting in both ways.

Maybe they look at the KO percentages of the opponents (and select them based on how low they are) and figure that any leftover riskiness will be mitigated by a little palm-greasing for the judges?

 

Round 3

Yiran is throwing big splashy right hands behind the jab from medium-long range, most of them getting blocked at least partially, but even those are concussing Tejones as his own fists are sent ricocheting into his face, just a dangerous asteroid belt of leather. Tejones is still doing the cleaner work, firing down the middle with the southpaw 1-2 as he does a matador turn, and then switching orthodox and bopping Yiran on the cheek with a left hook before slinking away, squatting down and covering his exit with a right jab.

Round 4

Yiran is marching Tejones down and whipping right hands at him. Tejones is trying to keep it a civilized boxing match, pot shotting with right or left jabs on the outside, still showing off his ambidextrous ability, switching smoothly on the fly while in motion. Yiran is catapulting himself inside past the jabs and clattering down upon the head of Tejones with wild downward executioner's-as swings. Tejones is tying up and Yiran is given lots of leeway by the ref, getting away with lots of holding & hitting, rag-dolling, very rough.

Round 5

Yiran is gassing out a bit, perhaps too much energy spent in the fourth. Tejones is able to meet his rushes, planting his feet and torquing himself in with hips swiveling as he counters with left hooks, flush on the jawline and backing Yiran off. Tejones is now lefty again, popping out a throwaway right jab into the guard from mid-range and then stepping wide to his left and spearing a left cross into the face. Yiran is being shied away, now, set onto the unfamiliar & uncomfortable backfoot. Yiran ineffective when pressed, countering with a spray of jabs with terrible aim, not even bothering unsheathing his right as Tejones has made him wary of counters.
