    I'm all for people being different, but there is levels to weirdness. do you not understand why I think it's very weird that a white guy from the Cumbria countryside- the most least diverse county in England. Has a strange obsession with Japanese boxers, to the extent where 95% of his posts are about Japanese fighters from the lower weights, to the extent where he watches all levels of their fights even domestic level fights with novices and you probably set your alarm to weird times to watch them., you mention them all the time even in threads where there is no relevance to them. It's the equivalent of a Japanese fan having a huge interest in watching Paul Ecomonides in a central area title fight. I think it's very strange.

    Maybe he just realizes that Japan has a tradition of excellence in the lighter weights and that for such a small nation, like the UK, has produced not only many world class elite champions over the last few decades, but also has a burgeoning domestic scene that is always worth tuning in for. He is hardly the only person to realize this; in fact you'll find threads frequently dedicated to Japan's scene (as well as on the Oriental & Pacific scene in general) on nearly any major boxing forum.

    We actually reached the same 38-38 score through four by a completely different route, but yeah, those rounds were close, so that's fine; the bottom line here is that Yiran got swept in the last three rounds preceded by four close ones and somehow we get a shutout and two 69-64 cards in his favor. All three judges so happening to be Chinese. Outrageous.
