As a big fan of Showbox, I don’t hate Zuffa’s cards - but at least Showbox knew what it was, a platform for prospects and a building block for recognition.

Dana White is just bringing tacky, low brow marketing and production standards to a platform that currently seems to sit about one rung above Showbox in terms of where the fighters are in their development - and then adding an ugly ass belt to try and legitimise it.

Essentially - he needs to prove a LOT more before he is taking any victory laps, as that arrogance and bravado currently seems very premature.

They are light years away from comparing with PBC, never mind HBO and Showtime.

 

I think Dana’s rant was aimed towards Arum and ODLH, they have been hating each other’s for years.

Charles Martin was still better than Oleg Maskaev, Siarhei Liakhovich and Trevor Bryan in my opinion.

 

Bryan yes. Maskaev and Liakhovich no.

 

Maskaev and Liakhovich would have starched Martin.

 

Maskaev is probably the worst chin in all heavyweight champion, and Siarhei Liakhovich was irregular he did nothing except the war with Brewster.

 

No, Martin was always garbage. He was a gatekeeper at best. He won the world title erroneously

 

Exactly. Maskaev would annihilate Martin. Might just knock him right out of the ring like he did Rahman!

 

I think Maskaev would crush Martin.....or get KOd lol
