Who the **** is talking about WWE? Compare the buyrates from PRIDE 32 and the Affliction cards that Fedor headlined to Lesnar's UFC cards. It's not even in the same ballpark. Lesnar has sold literally ten times as many PPV orders as Fedor on average per event.

Yes it is nonsense, the deal was already done, but I can see them not renewing his next deal if co-promotion was still on the table.

not just that, Fedor has a big salary and on top of that M1 get's half the profit making impossible for SF to make much money when Fedor fights.
Fedor had to continue his streak of ending orgs when he fights for them;)

If Lesnar headlined Pride 32 and Affliction do you think they would be more successful? People don't watch UFC because of Lesnar, they watch it because its well established in the American market. If you buy UFC just to see the great master Brock Lesnar then I apologize.

Nonsense. Every Lesnar ppv has done more than the UFC average.

And Lesnar would have been huge in Japan - which is why Inoki kicked off a bidding war with McMahon to get his contract in the late nineties.

Lesnar is a bigger PPV draw than Fedor.

To argue otherwise is just stupidity.

This won't affect just Fedor, they'll be cutting down the money on all the fighters in the Strikeforce stable. They won't make the same money again.

Lesnar is not a fighter so who gives a ****.

All of his fanbase are wrestling fans.

A wrestling fan's $60 dollars is the same as a non-wrestling fan's. The question was who's the bigger draw not who's the better fighter. And in any case I don't think his entire fanbase is pro-wrestling fans, and many of the ones he's brought in have become fans of the sport.

You're the type of guy who stops following bands when they become popular aren't you?
