zuffa is sending sf down the tube they keep it so showtime won't sign on with another mma company and they have a contract. American fans love stand up fighting everytime I show a friend k-1 they love it. SF started out as a kickboxing league why not send it back to that. I believe if zuffa machine got behind this it would blow up. Zuffa can sign American Kickboxers, some world talent, former ufc stars with good stand up, some boxers, and also send fighters back and forth from ufc to the stand up league fighters that need a boost (rampage, vera, alves, dan hardy, leben, stann, kongo, hunt and barry eventually) also ufc could take the top sf guys and leave some guys with good stand up behind paul daley, smith, kj noons, kyle first signing to sign badr hari have fight camp 360 series on him and whoever his first opponent is or have a fight camp 360 new fighter every episode. I really like this idea. Hasn't Badr turned over to boxing though. Also I don't see Dana &co ever going for it, not matter how immense it would be.

I still think it doesn't help to have a lesser MMA promotion, but considering UFC are the only ones on the market anyway, everyone's only going to sign to them as it is, so this'd be a good idea. UFC should really buy K-1. I have no idea why they don't.

StrikeForce was a kickboxing league and was virtually unknown to the masses Becomes an MMA league and grows to the #2 league in the US and probably the world And now you want it to regress back to its roots Yea this idea makes a lot of sense And K1 sucks bro Sloppy and boring as hell
Great idea but yeah dana is a wanker and wont do it.. Even if it sold well and produced great fights.
