I still want to know where you got you information. If you pulled it out of your ass, that's not a source I consider credible.
Anything is possible. However, the weight issue doesn't seem plausible to me. Zuniga is a very small SMW, and I've thought for quite awhile he should be at 160. He's 5" 10" and does not have an exceptionally large frame at all.
Well, it was not my quote, I'm just saying the Zuniga excuse is not credible and I'm still searching for the truth. Weight is a possibility, but not confirmed by anybody.
My guess is that the Canadians did refuse a visa based on the blood test and his handlers aren't very good 'spin doctors'. I just wonder what the blood test revealed that they tried that tactic though.:huh
Good job Hermit. That's actually the best theory yet. No matter what the bottom line is, this still sucks. The whole freaking thing stinks, and that goes back to Abraham being allowed to fight Ayala instead of Zuniga. Pavlik fighting Lockett when Zuniga was ready and willing. Pascal's shenanigans! And now this!
don't get all defensive. noone is saying he is chicken ****. However if you think about it objectively, don't you find it bizarre that at first they said it was visa issues, and then they said it was an illness? Maybe Zuniga can make 160 but he didn't have time to cut the weight, or maybe he really is sick, but its no surprise people are wondering
Nope -- no surprise at all, and it doesn't smell right either. It just bugs me that Zuniga deserves better than the crap that boxing is feeding him. The man comes to fight, always puts on a good show, and any prospect, or marginal contender, who gets past Zuniga is probably the real deal. If not, at least we know for sure he had his chin checked!:hey
