Here you go, just started looking back, several people reporting Bivol rocked Zurdo opening round https://www.boxingforum24.com/threa...-rakhimov-vs-zelfa-barrett-rbr.695013/page-42
I've noticed this in some highlights, the promotions favored (or highly promoted fighter) will be made to look better than he actually did or downplay the opponent/any controversies in the highlights
Call me crazy, but I'd bet on Smith to pull off the upset and KO Zurdo. Should be a fun fight none the less.
Cancelled my DAZN subscription. If all they're gonna offer now is low tier fights like this and womens fights for $225 a year, while putting mid level fights like Haney vs Prograis on PPV, then I'm out of that garbage.
How is that a low-tier fight. You have Wood vs Warrington and Zurdo vs Smith Jr on the same day? September 23: Richardson Hitchins vs Jose Zepeda September 30: Jai Opetaia vs Jordan Thompson October 7: Leigh Wood vs Josh Warrington October 7: Gilberto Ramirez vs Joe Smith Jr October 14: KSI vs Tommy Fury October 21: Jack Catterall vs Jorge Linares October 21: Alexis Rocha vs Giovanni Santillan October 28: O’Shaquie Foster vs Rocky Hernandez November 4: Joe Cordina vs Edward Vazquez November 11: Pat McCormack vs Peter Dobson November 18: Diego Pacheco vs Marcelo Esteban Coceres November 25: Chantelle Cameron vs Katie Taylor II December 2: UK show featuring Billy Joe Saunders December 2: Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte December 9: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney December 16: Jesse Rodriguez vs Sunny Edwards
all signs point to Zurdo unfortunately. Smith is inactive, getting over family tragedy and an ego crushing beating by Beterbiev, and his power will have less effect at cruiserweight. hope I’m wrong though, I don’t want them to start pushing Zurdo again…
Exactly, what the hell happened to "PPV is dead." Im still not able to get over them back peddling on that.
