I was rooting for him, but I wish I hadn't, and not because he lost. There's no ignominy in being outboxed by as sound a technician as Bivol, but the lack of fire in his belly was much less easily pardoned.

The only thing that was a bit of a factor in this fight was the size difference but if you watch Ramirez' career it was obvious he wasn't really on bivols level.. too slow & easy to hit... that's why clen had a bit more success he is more elusive and a smaller target.. Ramirez shouldn't give up though he's a solid light heavyweight who will probably pick up another Good win, but I remember people used to compare him to guys like Calzaghe which I always thought was laughable.. I'm not even sure Ramirez is as good as Bute, in fact I don't think he is he's just more durable

 

This fight showed us boxers with lots of wins and zero losses may actually be bums. Wilder had also had a similar record before being destroyed by Fury.

 

That was the one of the weakest attempts to win a world title by a fighter I have ever seen. He called out Bivol, got the fight he was clamoring for, and then gave zero effort in trying to win. I don't want to hear another ****ing peep from Zurdo Ramirez, nor do I ever want to watch him on a nationally televised bout.

Bivol was always levels above Ramirez. I don't know why people overrated Ramirez.
