Remember when Bivol literally stood forehead to forehead with Clenelo at times during the late rounds? He deliberately stood right where Clenelo wanted him and needed him to be in order for him to salvage victory from the jaws of defeat and he still couldn't get the better of him at that range. Bivol threw him a lifeline but he was still very much in charge.

    the plan was utterly stupid.

but had he used the right plan, he would have lost anyway.

I’m just glad it wasn’t PPV.
Not a fan of fighters that do this even though I understand exactly why they do it - self preservation.

    I get it.

This, if Bivol backs up anyone they are taking a beating. That fight went exactly like most thought it would and I was a bit surprised that Zurdo didn't try to press him more because it was his only chance at victory in my opinion.

Bivol was taunting him and Clenelo hated it. Same kind of stuff Calzaghe used to do.

ZR likes to throw bombs the entire fight. I think the look Bivol was giving him, the movement never being in position for ZR to unload, ZR was hesitant to throw. Add into the mix the fast hands and sharp counters that were coming back and we got a 1 sided boxing lesson.

ask yourself why zurdo was the most protected fighter in the game.
