This guy personifies the journeyman. Always in reasonable shape, taking fights at the last minute, sometimes getting brutally knocked out, but other times causing shocking upsets, such as Ray Austin (a draw) and beating McCline and Sosnowski, who is now fighting for a world title. However, he is best known for his power, or lack of it. Of his 24 wins he has failed to get one single knockout, he is the definition of feather-fisted. He is now almost at the end of his career, aged 39. Could anyone suggest a suitable opponent for his final fight, so he can finally get that elusive first knockout? Which currently active heavyweights have a jaw made of paper so thin that Zuri could knock them out?
At this point, yeah. If Nagy Aguilera can spark him out, there's no reason Zuri can't. :happy ...although I do feel bad for Olly, and would rather see him stay retired. Feed him Audley Harrison!
He doesn't WANT the knockout. I've seen him almost get a KO, and then pull back so that he doesn't get one. He did that against Sosnowski. He knows his claim to fame is having no knockouts, and he's not going to jeopardize that.
I like watching Zuri. He's not a gauranteed push-over for anyone. He nearly beat Chris Byrd few years back when Chris pulled a power shot out his ass and put Lawrence down in the last round.
If he wants a knockout, he should try to lure Amir Khan to meet him at a catchweight of 232lbs or something. Other than that, he's not stopping anyone.
