Dave Zyglewicz only fought a couple times after frazier before having a near fatal accident that limited how good he was. What would of happened to him if he was never in that accident? would he have another title shot? what else?

No. Ziggy was a tough kid but way too slow and small for that period of HWs. He would have gone on to be a top 15 contender as he was tough as nails and strong as an Ox. It was a big deal in his home town (Watervliet, NY) when he fought Frazier (though depressing when he lost in round 1) who became good friends with Ziggy, coming to town to visit a couple times. The accident scarred his lungs and he was never the same.

Ziggy came up in the wrong era to have ever had a chance of being a champ. He does have a few good names on his resume, Willie Besmanoff chief amongst them, but other than Smokin' Joe he never really fought another top fighter. Seeing how he would have fared against guys like Jerry Quarry, Buster Mathis and others would have given us a much better idea of Ziggy's skills.

I will say that Dave always gave his best and definitely gave the fans their money's worth. That's all you can really ask of any boxer.
