He should have reported it, and he has no doubt handled the situation poorly. He should be punished for his actions. HOWEVER..... this is NOTHING like a Margarito situation, or even a EPO/BALCO doping situations. It is much less severe, and it is highly questionable that what Peterson took greatly enhanced his performance against Khan. I am thinking like a 100k, 4 month ban would be proper.

There is no chance Peterson is innocent! And his story is a bunch of horse****. I read the first two lines of this bull crap Doctors reasoning for "treating" Lamont Peterson and stopped reading. This guys is what I'd call a complete ****ing joke. Taking Anabolic steriods supresses natural production of sex hormones, including, testosterone. What a lot of athlete's will do to get a perscription/medical excuse to use steriods is inject themselves with steriods and artificially supress there natural testosterone levels. Then they'll have their testosterone levels measured. They'll be low. So their doctor will give them a perscription for testosterone. Its all bull****.

Even VADA uses 4 to 1, but they also use this CIR [carbon isotope ratio] test to detect synthetic testosterone regardless of your level and that's what happened here. My understanding is that his level was 3.77 to 1...and I don't know if that was a purposeful attempt to conceal [his use]*by keeping it under 4 to 1 or not. That's a question for someone else and not to me. But regardless, the CIR was able to catch it without the level being that high.

Innocent of what? Even if he didn't cheat, he's guilty of being ****ing stupid and failing to work with the commission on something that was obviously going to be a problem down the road.
If a doctor was prescribing it, it would be to bring an individual with low testosterone levels back up to normal levels... not 3X the amount of normal levels

I drive this clinic every morning and know someone who goes there. It is kind of an alternative treatment center. By my friend he says the Dr is top notch. It isn't a dodgy place.
