IMO Froch vs. Poulard shouldn't have ever been discussed. Shumenov vs. Poulard might not be the greatest world title bout, but there have been worse. (Magee vs. Barboza, anyone? Golovkin vs. Tapia or Nunez?) It's at least 'legit' in the sense that Poulard has achieved a top ten ranking in that particular weight class in that particular organization. Froch vs. Poulard would have just been out of ****ing nowhere with no substantiating rationalization available.

I'm afraid Froch would not want a rematch with Bute and try to make some waves at 175 which is understandable for him but bad for Bute and me as a fan.

Voluntary doesnt mean he can fight a guy making his pro debut does it? i guess it turns out most boxing fans are just that dumb. they say its ok to break this rule but not ok to break other rules. the guy is not even ranked at 168 by the IBF he is ranked # 61 by boxrec at 175 take the title out of the headline then it doesnt matter. there are other scrubs ranked in the IBF top 15 he can fight where at least its in the rules. not sure why everyone doesnt get that. :-(
I don't get why people are saying Bite is elite, he hasn't the chin nor the movement to avoid Froch just walking towards him and banging on him.
