i have no idea why people on here think British boxers should all be number 1 in world and in world class fights in every bout!!!

Britain literally 'punches above its weight' in boxing

    what a pun

  3. second to none is a trolling wanker who would never dare step into the ring
the guy has probably never even had a heated argument in his life

to troll and mock world champions and world class fighters like that shows a lack of respect

britain have 5 world champs and therell be more to come, i reckon we'll have 7 or 8 next year, we are doing great, guys like Froch, Barker, Burns, Quigg, Mcdonnell are an inspiration to young boxers like myself

Eddie said it at the press conference today for swifty smith said it aswell at the carpe dieme presser, Burns and Quigg arn't world champions well not in my eyes and i can explain, it's not trolling to say Ricky was beaten fair by Beltran and no longer should be world champion, second explain to me how a guy who draws a fight for a bogus regular world title belt is a true world champion, as i said matchroom has quality fighters but show me one thing i said thats bull****

How is it trolling to say i don't regonise 2 of their world champions, one because we all know he clearly lost to Beltran, the other because he drew a fight for a title i wouldnt class as a world title, Regular belts arnt world titles IMO hows that trolling would people not agree Burns lost and that Regular belts are bull****, Also someone mentioned Haye, he is on sky not a matchroom fighter doesnt he promote himself, I don't see how i was trolling and to call me a **** for just giving an opinion on a forum you'd want to grow up

What more could Matchroom really do? They've signed the best out there, and they have a lot of promising fighters coming up too.

i dont understand the point of the article, the thread title and this line contradict each other almost straight away:huh, and again i dont think anyone has claimed they have the best stable in boxing.

i think a more apt title would have been matchroiom stable is abit over rated imo then explain why, article would have made alot more sense

I completely agree about Selby, massively over rated. To be honest I would say the stable is marginally better than fish eye's. The difference is that Sky is still the better platform so these fighters will recieve more hype.

It's a stable with a lot of potential. And am I the only one who thinks Kell Brook is quite good? I know he has hasn't stepped up yet but he's only 27 so he has time to build himself up. Senchenko is a good start and if he can get passed him then I can see him getting that shot against Alexander. Tbh though, I would rather see him face another top 147 fighter before going up against Alexander.

This is something that frustrates me!

The stable is good and growing, you talk about these fighters like they are not elite, they are either prospects (good) or world or near world level......how **** is that? :huh

Matchroom isn't interested in quality it is quantity they are after.

They are trying to buy enough fighters that they can take over British boxing.

Sky PPV'S and now they want a monopoly on British fighters.

This will all end in tears.
