Veit wasn't one of the top boys, but he was definitely world class. he had a good set of skills on him no doubt.

yeah, but the stoppages came against top competition. i agree that Veit wasn't an inside fighter, but he was a classical fighter on the outside. his jab wasn't ordinary, it was actually very good. and although he wasn't a big puncher, he definitely was a good puncher.
Veit would knock Rodriguez out. Rodriguez is far too sloppy to win that fight. he'd be kept on the outside too much. too many people are looking at Rods win over Gratchev as the true worth of him, when really, that performance was a bit of a surprise.
Veit was C+ at best. this is an obvious mismatch. Ward destroys him. Ward is the greatest SMW of time. Veit is an afterthought.
