I'm just not as interested as I am in Narváez vs. Inoue, for obvious reasons, nor is any other knowledgeable fan. This whole argument started with you latching onto a comparative statement and quoting it without context. Relative to Narváez vs. Inoue, none of the other remaining fights on the calendar matter. That doesn't mean I won't be watching them. It means relative to Narváez vs. Inoue, they are not as big a deal. Hence my original statement that it was the last really big, important fight left in the year, going on in that same post to deliver a brief nod of acknowledgement to both of the other Japanese cards on NYE while still maintaining that neither approaches the significance of the main event on Tuesday. Well, Kono is the "low-hanging fruit" of all the favorites - the easiest to chat trash about, given his record and Cinderella Man status (when he knocked out Singwancha it was a big shock...he wasn't supposed to have any chance to become champion at the age of 32 anymore...let alone twice since then...) - but really Jimenez is nobody to speak on that. Jimenez sports exactly as many losses as Kono and his record is otherwise 20-0-3 (10) compared with Kono's 30-0 (13). Plus Kono has better wins and less embarrassing losses.
