It clearly wasn't bad enough to prevent him from fighting prior matches, so he kept putting it off. Now with the biggest fight of your life over with, might as well finally get that surgery and hey, works as an excuse too. Pac historically doesn't accept defeat too well (socks, blood etc).

The USADA was arguing that Toradol isn't on the banned substance list. Which it isn't. That still does not mean the NSAC did not have good reason to raise a red flag over the request given the immediate performance boosting affects of Toradol. If Manny gets a shot of Toradol, what does Mayweather get to boost his performance? If you say "it's just an anti-inflammatory drug," then I know you can't be taken seriously. There are countless articles out there about Toradol abuse in professional sports. Yes, there are calls to have it banned completely.


I also find it hilarious that people like you don't question why they didn't get anything else that would be allowed besides Toradol. It HAD to be Toradol. Why? Manny can't take Advil? The problem was never with the drug. It was the nondisclosure of the injury. The drug being the issue hasn't even been a remote possibility.
