Nope they try to swing the convo into a point that works for them.

He's saying Porter looked way different and would've KO Broner if he wasnt weigh drained.

Im saying thats the same damn Porter that fought Broner that fought Brook, only difference is Brook is a better fighter...not the 3lbs :lol:

Thats why I cant wait to drop this channel, school you cats that swear yall know boxing. Porter weigh drained :lol::lol:

Wow,no sense talking logic to a moron like you. My point was that Team BRONER thought he'd be weight drained dumba$$. Why else would they have made him come down to a weight he hadn't been at in years? Use your head FFS. It is a fact that Porter DID NOT WANT THE CATCHWEIGHT, but it was the only way he'd get the fight.

You're another guy who doesn't get that 3 pounds is SIX glasses of water..when you are in tip top shape, all 3 of those pounds are water weight... you at least get that, don't you?? And you also know that you can't just drink the water after weigh in and be good as gold next day... it can take more than 24 hours to rebalance the body. Porter handled it well, but don't try to tell me they didn't try to drain him.

A weight-drained fighter who has lots of talent can beat a healthy fighter with little talent. That's what happened in this fight.

Catch-weights matter. If they didn't matter, cash-cows wouldn't force their opponents to drain themselves.

quit it w the the myth that brook schooled porter, it was a close fight w porter employing clinch tactics all night long. clinches are a valuable strategy here and there and when you get hurt, but to use it all night long a la wlad/broner/mayweather is disgraceful. i put just as much blame on porter for not having an answer and lunging into the clinches all night, either way it was still close and i would give porter a 50-50 chance in a rematch.

Here's the problem..you think thye plan was to weigh drain him but it was only because Broner doesnt want to fight at 147.

Thats the thing, everybody says ppl make catch weights to drain there fighter, some do but its just about being even.

To me it is very obvious that you have never competed.

When competitors are almost equal, 'small' advantages when you can get them matter a lot (such as having to drop a couple of pounds less than your competitor). These 'small' advantages mean a lot a the highest level and having multiple 'small' advantages really adds up.

You consider two cyclists racing, same age, same equipment. Both practice ride 300 miles a week. One has perfected every little detail, posture, aerodynamics etc etc. One hasn't. Which one would you bet on?

'Small advantages' are the reason why Leonard beat Hagler. As great as he was, do you really think Leonard would have got out alive against Hagler in a tiny ring without advantages?
