If you watch the interview with Freddie Roach before Pac and FM fought, I believe it was 24/7 or All Access, Roach was asked why it took so long for the fight to happen and he straight out says Pac did not want to have blood drawn so close to the fight. At that point negotiations fell apart and the fight did not happen. Like I stated before, both are to blame.

 

There are numerous writers, fans, fighters, etc. who have said that Pacquiao is greater. Most people have Pacquiao in the top 13-19 greatest fighters of all time. Most people do not place Mayweather in the top 20. Most have him around 35-50 ATG.

Kellerman, Bert Sugar, Miguel Cotto, BWAA, etc. These are all some people who rate Pacquiao higher than Mayweather.

This is an 8 division world champion. Have we all forgotten that Pacquiao was supposed to get murdered at every weight higher than 126? He's a little 5'5" former Flyweight champion. Again, 8 division titles.

 

People look at Floyd as so massively superior to Pacquiao that they judge Floyd with a different set of criteria than every other fighter of the era. Even the people who are saying Manny is greater essentially prove how inferior he is to Floyd. Simply because even they hold Floyd to such a higher standard than the rest of his contemporaries.

 

Who are these publications where are they post links or log off. Everyone here is aware of the ring espn and roach who all rated pbf higher. You're full of ****.

 

They don't have more credibility. This is a forum, it's about speaking however you want. Writing is a different construct and I wouldn't dare write the same way. You however would fail at just about everything.

There is no rationale behind your post dude.
The first point to get across is understanding eachother's criteria for greatness. Some people have weird criteria. I have a very pure criteria which I've listed countless times.
At the end of the day, Floyd hasn't fought any great fighters at or near their primes. He did the best he could and if someone wants to call him 'the best ever', they are free too, although they don't have a strong case in the same way Lomachenko fans like myself won't have much of a case either when his career is done because it's unlikely he'll face a top fighter in Loma's prime - and there's only around 3 years left of his prime TOPS. Greatness however, clearly goes to Pacquiao.

 

I haven't failed at life that's for damn sure I know for a fact I make and have more money than you and drive better cars and live in a better house than you.
