The only thing draw about the affair was it was a big crowd draw.

The fight had a winner and a loser, and the sport lost a little bit too.

 

Quit being emotional and be a man more than a fanatic. Not even Golovkin is as mad as you suburban keyboard thugs are. Tonight was the night for boxing to shine. And it could have. It was a good fight. Between two great fighters.

And then the judges took center stage. When I heard 118-110, it could only be Golovkin. You CAN make a case for 10-2 Golovkin. I didn't have it THAT wide, but I can see that. You cannot, in any way, make an argument for 10-2 Canelo.

I fully expected a Canelo win if it went to the scorecards via Golden Boy. A controversial robbery. He didn't get the win, but this felt even more fixed than that. A very sad night for boxing.

Hats off to Gennady for being diplomatic. Another blemish for boxing.

I brought out another tv to put on UFC for some of my guests. That card was on FS1 and free, and it was excellent.

Again, sad night for boxing. I want to be done with the sport, to be honest. 118-110 should live in infamy. What an embarrassment.

 

I'm pretty sure I will never never pay for another high profile fight again that she is the judge. Fighters alter fights. Refs for better or worse alter fights. A "judge" like this alters fights that a normal judge would not.

 

Top rank tried to have her removed on a previous fight.

 

And that's the problem. She still has a job and obviously, according to golden boy, she does fine work.
