No, the invincible ignorance fallacy relates to ignoring the evidence.

You have not presented any evidence.

Like the donald, you have stated that people were denigrating Canelo's power, without actually showing that that happened.

    Your excuse ?

" I could gather all the comments and show you but the amount of time and effort isn't worth it. "

Try to keep your fallacies straight, lad !

He has great 1 punch power- against blown up Jr. WWs/WWs and glass jawed super middles. One punch KOs I can recall- Baldomir (former Welterweight), Khan (former JR. Welterweight, and ultimate glass jaw), Kirkland (KO'd by feather fisted Ishida, that proved the type of chin he has). Against legit, world class Jr. Middles, he went the distance with all. Nailed a severely weight drained Chavez with many bombs, couldn't get him out of there.

    Thanks for answering.

    Joe's a good shout.

I haven't purposely omitted him from the list.

I don't hate him either. But I do hate the contradictions and how he played the media etc.

    Steve Collins

Best chin: It’s Chris Eubank. I hit him with huge shots to the head and he was going nowhere. When I dropped him it was a body shot that sent him over. He was so tough and durable and he was dangerous until the very last second of a fight. He didn’t have Benn’s power or McCallum’s combination work but he had incredible strength. You would be nailing Chris and think it’s all over and then he would just unload with power shots. He would get fancy during a fight and showboat which would keep opponents thinking plus his style was so unorthodox, you didn’t know what was coming next. That was his way of buying time but I would ignore that and jump all over him. I always wanted to be in punching range against Chris but he was the toughest most durable man I ever met – hands down.

Strongest: Eubank was the strongest. His physical strength was incredible but the reason I gave him so much trouble is because I was even stronger than he was. Super middleweight was my division and my strength was second to none, whereas I lost something making the middleweight limit. At 168 pounds I could stand up to Chris and push him backwards and he had never encountered that before, so ultimately I broke his heart in the first fight. I fought all the way up at heavyweight as an amateur and my strength was my biggest asset.

    Sumbu Kalambay

    STRONGEST
    Collins
: Steve Collins, a true warrior, durable and strong. When I faced [Herol] Graham, I felt he was a strong guy and his fists were heavy. However, I managed to keep him off balance all night circulating around to slip punches and anticipating him with my fast jab. So basically I just had the perception of his power because he could not land flush on me during that bout.

    BEST DEFENSE
    Steve Collins
: Irish Steve Collins was tough to box actually, we made a good fight together. He kept coming forward and was physically very strong. Chris Pyatt blocked and clinched often, so I could not hit him very clean, but Collins was tougher.

    Nigel Benn

Best chin: Chris Eubank and you don’t even need to ask me that (laughs). I could hit Chris’ chin with anything and it wouldn’t even move. It was like hitting a lump of granite but to be honest I enjoyed pummeling that chin (laughs hysterically). Look, I love Chris and we’re old men now so I can laugh and joke about it. I needed him as much he needed me.

Strongest: Robbie Sims was good inside but I would say Juan Carlos Gimenez. He also fought Eubank and Calzaghe and only Joe managed to put a dent in him. He was always banging his hands together wanting more and he was so strong. I’m talking as strong as an ox. As soon as I hit him I knew I wasn’t stopping him - he was going nowhere.

    Roberto Duran

    BEST CHIN
    Marvelous Marvin Hagler
: I hit Hagler with a lot of punches and he just kept coming. I didn’t find him as skillful as some of the opponents I faced but he was the toughest.

    Mike McCallum

Best chin: Steve Collins I almost said Toney, but Collins had the best chin. I hit him right on his chin all night and he wouldnt budge. I couldnt hit Toney that much and when I did, he backed off. Collins walked through punches.

    Carl Froch

    BEST PUNCHER

Robin Reid: He hurt me the most with a single shot. I can’t say George Groves because he caught me square on in the first fight, when I left my feet behind me. That was a heavy knockdown made worse by my balance being off. Also, after his fast start dwindled, I came
on strong, so I can’t say Groves. I remember Reid hitting me and saying, ‘F—ing hell, that hurt.’ Jermain Taylor had me down, but that was more of a sharp shot. Robin Reid could really bang, and in my opinion he deserved the win over Joe Calzaghe in their fight. That said, Calzaghe had to be tough to walk through the right hands he took from Reid.

    BEST CHIN
    Glen Johnson
: He was never in trouble, and I hit him with some really heavy digs. I saw him coming, set my feet, hit him with combinations, reset myself and hammered him with more big shots. All of that and he was going nowhere. He was switched on that night, because the prize was a huge fight with Ward, so I had to be on form.

    Richie Woodhall

    BEST CHIN

Calzaghe: He was a tough geezer. I wasn’t a devastating puncher; I was more of a worker, and that showed against Calzaghe. I hit him many times but nothing affected him.

    John Mugabi

    BEST CHIN
    Hagler
: By virtue of the fact that he was the only fighter I faced who didn’t go down to my clean punches, especially an uppercut in the sixth round of our fight. My power would have woken up ancestors of other fighters I fought when I connected with the uppercut, but he barely wobbled after the punch landed.

    Lucien Bute

    BEST CHIN
    Librado Andrade
: Andrade was the tough guy. I fought (him twice) and gave him good, good shots in the first fight and he never (went) down. He always came forward and is a very durable fighter.

    STRONGEST
    Carl Froch
: Very physical. Not good skill, not good ability, but very strong. Froch was very determined and physically strong. He took some early shots from me but he was not affected. He had a great night and I did not. I wish we would have a rematch.

    Montell Griffin

    BEST CHIN
    Toney
: He’s never been knocked out, never been stopped, he’s been knocked down a couple of times, flash knock downs. He fought from middleweight to heavyweight and nobody has been able to stop him.

    Mikkel Kessler

    BEST CHIN
    Librado Andrade:
He had the best chin. I hit him so much … but he could take a punch. Of course, Froch, he can take a pretty good punch.

Joe was also awkward and effective. And he could take a punch. I would say I hit Joe with some of my hardest shots ever and he took them. Carl is more a hard hitter but he’s slow. But Carl doesn’t respect anything. Even if you hit him really hard he will still come forward.

    Joe Calzaghe

Chin : Lacy . I've fought quite a few people with good chins...but the amount of times i hit Jeff Lacy and he didn't go down. To be honest, i hit him over a thousand times. How he stood up to that beating i'l never know. So i have to give him some kudos for taking the beating he took. That was my perfect night, i think. I just brought my 'A' game.

Strongest : Bika. He's one tough son of a *****. Bika was tough. That's the only time i've been really bashed. i had 6 stitches from a head-butt. There were shoulders, elbows, everything going in. I hit him with everything, couldn't hurt him. This was the fight after Lacy. Physically a strong guy.

    Jermain Taylor

BEST CHINKelly Pavlik – That boy got up (off the canvas). I knew he was out. I thought I had him out and punched myself out and he got back up and won the fight. I’ve got to give it to Kelly.

    Michael Watson

    BEST CHIN: Chris Eubank

I hit him with everything in both of our fights. He had such a strong chin and taking all those punches from me proves it.

    STRONGEST: Benn

Nigel was the strongest and the most powerful of all my opponents. He played into my hands by being so aggressive early though. The word was that Nigel spent a full day in the hairdressers a day or two before that fight. He apparently wanted to look good for getting knocked out (laughs). I love him though and he’s a great friend of mine.

    Antonio Tarver

StrongestJohnson – He was the most determined fighter I faced. We went 24 rounds, each round was like hell for me. I had to really dig deep in order to beat him. He brought out the best in me. I had to go places internally I didn’t know I could go. I beat him at his own game when I beat him in Memphis. A lot of people didn’t think I could do that toe to toe. Sometimes you have to gut it out and be mentally strong and Glen Johnson brought that out of me both times we fought.

oh eubank had atg chin for sure. He relied on it, kinda made up for his lack of finesse.

Take away his chin and he was just another eurolevel.

Probably the best SMW chin outside toney, and perhaps froch, who also relied heavily on it.

    You're being too literal, lad.
I was using a small amount of literary license.

    That was a compliment, sonny.

A complement is another thing altogether.:D

    You're welcome

I was joking about you purposely omitting him. But yes also had a granite chin too.

lol you hate him. Be honest. Inserting your customary ''Joe was a great fighter into your hate filed rants'' doesn't absolve you from being a rabid hater. And no I don't want to get into a debate about him with you or listen to your claims to the contrary I've heard it from you a million times before lol

    Ha!

    I don't hate him.

I just hate the fact that guys like Bailey give him a pass for certain things, and I hate how he tried to claim credit for beating Roy after he'd said he was shot.

You think I hate him because he beat Roy. But I don't hate Tarver, Johnson and Lebedev etc.
