If it was the size alone, Rigo wouldn't have been the one initiating the holding the entire fight!

It was the movement and angles he couldn't deal with. It didn't help that Rigo doesn't get hit much, ever. That changed tonight, and he couldn't cope. Loma landed more on him in 4 rounds than Donaire did in 12. Combine that with his own inability to score, and the dude bailed.

Stephen A Smith saying he should move up, he already did to take on Walters. Let him keep moving up tho tbh.

I don't think so. He would beat Santa Cruz or Frampton tomorrow. The guy looked really heavy and sluggish. He really should have come in at his normal weight, but even at 130 he just couldn't clinch the guy. Every time they were in the clinch, Rigo looked like he was in the middle of an earthquake.

You can't fight a hall-of-famer and give up all of the advantages.

If Loma wasn't a finesse boxer who used speed, footwork and skills to win fights and instead used a more physical approach, pushing, bullying and smothering his opponents, you would be right. But this was purely a skills match. It was all tactical and strategic....the only physicality displayed was Rig's holding

His management team ****ed it for him from the outset with no catchweight.

exactly. I don't see how it was age or anything else. Speed and activity mean a lot. And I mention Duran because I think he was very overrated against great fighters. And he quit against Ray, and this started the No mas phrase which is the term quitting. Or means that.

Come on, you're misrepresenting what happened to say it was about the size difference. It could've been, but we can't say it was because Rigo brought no effort in there! He waited all fight, let Loma do all the work, was easily discouraged when Loma outboxed him, didn't care about winning, and when the going got a bit tough, he quit. Rigo embarrassed himself and boxing. We can't take much from the fight beyond that. Loma as he was yesterday is still da best at boxing though!

    He couldn't run.
    He couldn't hug.
    He couldn't duck low.

    So he quit!

Exactly. It was a masterclass and it was on the way to getting WAY worse for Rigoblin. The ***** knew it and said “No Mas!” Simple as that.
