Use to rate Kell Brook highly and thought he was the real deal once upon a time.

Sadly he's proven to be a fraud.

Of course we should never forget the fact that he was sold out by his massa and thrown to the lion(GGG) to be devoured for a 5 million pay day.

Spence then finished the job off and nearly turned Kell into a one eyed pirate before making him bow down and quit.

Would have liked to have seen how Kell went at 154.

Compare him to any of the champions at 154 and you would think he should be @ 140 tbh

 

I think it's the smart move and I don't draw any negative inference from it. Two boxers nearing the end of their careers parlaying a strong domestic following (which they earned in the ring) into a big night which will see all their kids through expensive schools and fill their pensions for the time when all their work in the ring catches up with them.

I get you don't like the flim flam that Hearn puts out, but I don't get the antipathy to Brook. He's very little left to prove for me. He's shown courage and heart aplenty. Time is catching up with him as it does to everyone. I hopd they fight in December and then that's it. Reality tv shows for the pair of them.

Yeah couldn't give you an argument on that, it's clearly bollocks.

I can't give you an argument about why that fight took place, but it doesn't bother me particularly. Promoters have to balance getting their fighters out there against putting them in peril. Brook is a big name that could bolster what looked to me like a weak PPV proposition.

Ultimately I don't look to promoters for honesty. If their lips are moving they are selling something.

I don't think he's a fraud, what I do think is him and his management are stupid managing his career since GGG, maybe before it too..I think he has injuries physically now that are bad enough to wave good bye to the sport if he cant get Kahn, its also mental, I don't care what anyone says, I've seen interviews over the past 12 months with him where he should be on suicide watch, blatantly. As a fighter prime, before injuries, I thought he was very good !

 

Yeah if I were his mate I'd tell him to hang up the gloves. He's done realistically at the highest level, but if he does fight Khan I'll still be watching and I wish him well.

 

The dough would be too good to not take the Kahn fight..Be like GGG dough(5 mil), or more if this fight happened a few year ago it would be significantly more imo. I like him
