Bowe has an incredibly shallow resume in one of the best eras of heavyweight boxing in the history of the division. Who are his notable wins? Holyfield, Cooper, and Hide? Never fought Lewis, Moorer, Tyson, Foreman, Douglas, Mercer, Tua, Bruno, McCall, Morrison, Ruddock, or many other other top ranked fighters of the day. Absolute peak for peak, I'd pick Bowe over most (I'm one of those idiots who tentatively places him in the top 15!). But Bowe, like Douglas, has a very different peak vs prime. Not many heavies have such a disparity there. I'll go with Dempsey by a hair.
