Not a technique any instructor would ever recommend but he made it work for him and that's what matters. He used it to get wins. Not an overly impressive resume IMO. He's nowhere near as great as this board makes him, nor the bum his detractors say he was. Overall, a guy with a couple of decent wins, a borderline HOF'er IMO. Let's face it, 168 is a very new division in the sport and wasn't deep during Joe's reign and the HOF ballot he appeared on was even weaker.
