    Actually it WAS in the second round Read the book Muhammad Ali My Life & Times by Thomas Hauser. The doc & Ferdie Pacheco both said the same thing and wanted Ali to quit he refused. The hospital said afterwards that the pain must have been excruciating as there was a
    quarter of an inch gap on the break when they X Rayed him

    Sorry man but I'll the word of Angelo Dundee he told us same story. He said doc felt Ali's jaw & he said its broke
    I can feel it move stop the fight. Ali said no way.
    No one knew at the time especially Ken Norton as Ali kept fighting. Ali was tough cookie himself
