There is a good documentary of him coming over to America, and sparring and training with Orlando Canizales. Some of the sparring sessions were great. Yes he won some belts he stopped fighting in his prime. That is criminal to throw away that kind of talent. When he did eventually resume his career his fire was gone and he looked to be maybe 60%. He should have been the one schooling Chavez instead of Pea.

Chavez was simply better than Camacho and at 135 Julio was much quicker than at higher weights, he was too good at cutting the ring off, the Rosario fight proved Camacho wasn`t a smart enough fighter to not get off the ropes against a master like Julio.
Surprised one has mentioned Gerald McClellan. He had all the physical attributes to be close to unbeatable IMO (speed, power, chin, length, ferociousness). Just needed more polishing such as defense and stamina. He was a really talented fighter that never reached his full potential.
