Is there any heavyweight today that can beat Andy Ruiz?

Usyk has far better timing than any of the oter heavies on this list and is better at feinting his opponents out of position too, Usyk would land more punches on Ruiz than any other heavy right now.

 

Wilder, Ko2 at the latest.

Ruiz is better then Kownacki and Rivas along with Miller, maybe Parker ? The rest ? Not so sure about that,many guys should be able to beat him either through style or a combination of things like length distance etc...,hes only in my top 10 prior to Joshua and is around 7/8 because he has titles,not sure if he will be on it after the AJ fight ? Depends what happens in that fight.

Joshua in all likelihood is going to knock him out. Id be surprised if it goes the distance .

Beyond AJ, Fury, Wilder, Usyk and Hrgovic would be potential roadblocks for Ruiz.

Middle ground guys who make ppl look bad like Pulev , Hunter, and Whyte may do him in as well ?

Povetkin would be interesting stylistically.

Ortiz is almost 50 ,hes not going to be much relevant when Wilder knocks him out ( though I will have my fingers crossed )

Then you have huge pulverizers ,Joyce ,DDD , Sirenko , Mahkmudov, Ajagba and Bakole as further potential guys of length who hit real hard ,so many guys could beat Ruiz.

All eyes will be on AJ in the rematch and most who rate Ruiz a top 3 guy will still say AJ is unproven and cant box if he wins ,welcome to boxing.

Aside from Wilder Fury i would actually pick Ortiz against Ruiz not usyk. Ortiz is a very good counter puncher with heavy hands and he would not have to worry about chasing Ruiz around the ring. I do not think usyk is a good matchup at all I see Ruiz walking through and overwhelming him.

Ruiz is much faster than King Kong.

Ruiz has an iron jaw, so the Cuban's power won't come into play.

Ruiz is hardly going to be outmatched in skill here, as Ortiz usually counts on his opponents being.

 

I don't think I've seen enough to say Ortiz power won't come into play, that's quite a statement. I do see Ortiz as the more skilled boxer of the two with power and chin being more or less equal. Ruiz hands are definitely faster but he's there to be hit. I would like to see this fight as I'm not completely sold on Ruiz as a world beater yet

 

...idk, Malik Scott went twelve rounds with Ortiz and Christian Hammer went ten. I have a really hard time imagining Ruiz succumbing to him.
