They were league underdogs. Not odds underdogs. Meaning most most people in the league were picking against them. Its still going against the grain. You laugh but whats funny is seeing the guy who doesnt have a single pick that goes against the consensus, criticizing the 'safety first' picks of the one who has the most. Lastly, this might come as a shock for you, but theres actual logical reasons why switches come after an update. Update comes out... I look at where I am differing from the pack. I take a closer look those. As you can see I had 2 fights that differ from the runner up. I changed one of those. I changed 1, of 2. Based on taking a closer look. Oh the horror. Queue the whining about saftey because I changed 1 of 2 differences based on looking closer at critical matchups. You're funny.
You know what makes your whining even more lame is, no matter how close my picks are to the co lead... this early in the year the guys below are only 1 or 2 fights away from the lead. So take Robney... even if I had all my picks the same as the co lead... I have like 3 that are different from Robney and some of the next layer of challengers. If I am wrong on two of those, I will lose the lead anyways. If this was the last month of the competition and I did this... you would almost have a point. This early in the year, its almost completely meaningless. I have multiple fights differing from people in the near lead that if I lose those I can be near the bottom of the top 10 by the end of the month. Having the same picks as the immediate co lead in this situation is near meaningless.

Actually, the first 15 in the rankings are currently separated by 1 fight and there are almost 20 fights this weekend, I don't really see what the big deal is with "following the leader" when anyone can be leading on Monday. You are very correct that such things might occur when it comes to the league at the end of the year, but currently I agree too that there is so much yet to come.
