If Spence won't fight the the other top dog in the division simply because its not a megafight then its a blatant duck. There's really no way around it. American fighters are the biggest divas in boxing. It makes it hard to root for most of these guys. Kovalev didn't even get a guaranteed purse when he fought Ward and he had plenty of fanbase.

Crawford's had multiple PPVs. I believe the Crawford-Postol PPV sold 50,000. Crawford-Khan was less than 150,000. Crawford-Porter was 135,000. Take all those combined and Spence-Mikey Garcia alone sold more than that (360,000). Top Rank said Crawford wasn't a PPV star. Bob Arum said that for years. Now PBC is saying it. They're the ones staging PPVs. (DAZN doesn't have PPVs at the moment.) People either buy them or they don't. Are you buying Bud Crawford PPVs?
