    Now, Sergio should fight fellow Spaniard Kerman Lejarraga, which was planned for 2020, before being put on the backburner, most likely due to Covid, then brutally KO him, since Kerman and his fragile whiskers have no business at Middleweight. Then retire. It'll look like a great win for the casuals, he'll look like a badass, redemption arc complete, ride off into the sunset.

    Macaulay has now lost three consecutive ten-rounders, first to a couple of guys who aren't ranked top 15 by any major org, and now to a guy who is at #4 in one, but is 46 years old.

    In those contests he arguably won between three and zero rounds in total...and has been knocked down a combined 4x.

    @CST80 is right, he should in the future set his sights very low.

    The good news is he isn't ranked by the IBF, but unfortunately, if Golovkin beats Murata to collect the WBA strap, we are perilously close to Martínez (absurdly, in 2022) being his mandatory. :sconf:

    It hurts me to even think of this but I reckon Kerman runs through sexy Serge. Whilst Kerman is too small to be a middleweight, and can’t really take a shot, I think his work rate would be too much for our man. There is an element of intrigue though, because if Maravilla can muster even 50% of what he was he should manage to win...
