Great match-up but, Lordy, who knows? I'm gonna lean toward Langford sinking in the shot that changes the momentum and then finishing the task.
You obviously didn't understand what I meant, which is that is was poor. At least in the match against Bill Lang, which doesn't have the best footage out there. Most of the times, his guard is low/non-existent, similar to Ali's One thing I will give you about Langford, he looks a million times better than Fitzsimmons. Come to think of it, how couldn't he I don't think I've ever seen a worse boxer than Fitzsimmons. At least from the limited footage we have. No, I have not.
I remember you agreeing with someone saying that Langford used that guard which resembled oldschool bareknuckle stance, I remember it very well. Langford never fought in that stance. Why do you focus on Lang fight where he faced outmatched opponent? Why not focusing on Jeannette fight instead? Pretty sure I can find a lot worse looking boxers than Fitzsimmons in less than a minute. I don't remember saying that. Cause I haven't seen that. At least I don't remember to. I highly doubt it.
You liked post of the other posters who said that. Do you want me to find this thread as well? You can watch it, it's not like the fight is buried somewhere: This content is protected You don't need to watch full fight, all you have to do is watch one round to see that Langford didn't fight in a way you describe him. This content is protected If you think this guy looks better than Fitzsimmons, then you have delusions.
Could be, Moore had strong chin but not ATG one. On the other hand, I don't think durability would be a key factor in this fight.
I wouldn't be surprised. I'm sure both would respect their power and both were good defensively. It's not like they knocked out everyone on their way in quick fashion all the time.
