He's still undisputed at Super Middleweight and stepped up to fight arguably the number 1 light heavyweight (certainly top 2) in the world. He is a 4 division champ (counting fading Kovalev) and was clearly the number 1 guy at 154, 160 and 168. Does a loss automatically disqualify a fighter from being number 1 P4P?
Usyk is number 1. After reflecting on the events of the weekend, I'd still say Canelo is top 3.Top 5 at a minimum.
I’d say yes or at worst top 3 he still has the best resume in boxing, it’s not like any of the other p4p contender are doing anything majorly impressive if we combine skills accolades and level of comp even with a lost it’s hard to argue. Every great fighter in boxing history has taken an L or has a debatable decision at some point if you fight enough high quality fighters it’s bound to happen, who you fight how you win or lose and how you bounce back is vastly more important
I don't see how anyone can not see usyk as clear p4p #1. He cleared out his entire weight class on their own turf, then went up to heavyweight and won the entire thing after only 2 fights. What more could you ask for?
Alvarez is still P4P # 1 IMO. His body of work isn't erased because he lost (for the 1st time in 9 years) in a weight class he has no business being in. He was daring to be great. From 168 & below, no one can beat him so it's not like the Bivol loss changes that.

Clen should probably still maintain a top 3 spot. Loma shouldn't have been dropped down so far either when fighters they have ranked above him haven't taken near the risks he has, aren't near as skilful or talented, and are huge for the weight and have forged a career beating up on leprechauns and career lower weight fighters, which is the complete opposite of what he, and he's the complete the antithesis of a weight bully, has done. When he moves up he's actually fighting bigger/much naturally bigger men, when fighters who are absolutely massive for the weight do so they're often still the bigger man or at worst the same size. For example, if David Benavidez moved up to fight Bivol he would be far bigger than him He weighs a lot more than him even now If Usyk is elevated to #1 a lot more people gonna be praying he loses the rematch to AJ
