The top 6 is really clear Fury and Usyk are the champs, the best - the clear top two Wilder, Joshua, Joyce, Ruiz are the clear number 3 to 6 But do you think is the 7th best?
Since the question is about "at the moment" I will go with Sanchez. Right now, I believe he's the best. Eventually, I think the best will be Daniel Dubois. He may be the youngster of the group but at 25 years old he has shown some solid talent. His one loss was a 10th round kayo against Joyce but Dubois was winning at the time of the stoppage. I am hopeful some of these guys will face each other in the next year or so. I would love to see Hrgovic-Makhmudov or Bakole-Dubois. Even Wallin-Gassiev would be interesting.

Why does ESB rate Dubois so highly ? Just before I joined I remember seeing the majority here backing Dubois to beat Joyce. Dubois is robotic, throws a straight one-two, no feints, and has no head movement. You can see this as he has to think about moving his head - before he throws he sometimes awkwardly moves his head but when someone throws back there is no head movement at all. Against Trevor Bryan, he was again one-dimensional until stopping him. He hasn’t shown many improvements since linking up with Shane McGuigan. This is why Frank Warren is protecting him and not putting him in with any risky heavyweight unlike Joe Joyce. Great list. I personally would have Sanchez in the top 10, but maybe I am overrating him. I don’t think Bakole is slightly overrated for the win over Yoka since we all know Yoka is a fraud. Interestingly, Dave Allen said Kossobosituky is the best out of the top crop of heavyweights. He said he rates him ahead of Makhmudov. Maybe Jermaine Franklin could be on the list after impressing against Whyte considering you have Whyte at 7. I think he’s shot to pieces now, even more than Parker.
Fury has the ability to make top HW look bad. Whyte may of been working on new stuff with his new trainer against Franklin. I’d put Parker at 8. However they are both clinging on and we will find out when they fight an other top 10 heavy if they are finished. The guys behind need to beat ranked opponents to move ahead. Gassiev (where the **** is he?)and Hunter are dark horses for me but I can’t rank guys who don’t fight regularly on the basis of I think they have potential.
Maybe I rated him a little too high, but aside from Yoka, I think his wins over Kuzmin and Wach are damned solid, considering he was the first to outright TKO Wach. The fact that he blitzed Hernandez in 2, when it took Anderson 4 and Ajagba 5, was impressive. And yes, being only the second man behind AJ to stop KJ, and legitimately, not on cuts like Milas. That's nothing to sneeze at. So it's the manner of his wins more so than the wins themselves. Based solely on skillset, Dave Allen is correct. I have him at 10, and even then I thought I was being too generous. I was thinking about putting Franklin on the list, but then I think about his gift against Forrest, ridiculously close match (arguably a draw) against Rydell Booker and going the distance with Pavel Sour is just goddamned shameful.
