I said I'd favour AJ so what hype train am I on? I thought Parker would beat Joyce because face first defence can only take you so far. I would have put my house on Wilder sending him to the shadow realm. I was alarmed at the leather that Takam was landing on him and I told anyone that would listen that Zhang was a mistake. I am a fan of his but I'm not deluded

Zhang was throwing sharp shots early but we’ve seen stamina issues previously and as we know Joyce often starts slow but breaks opponents down. What we got was a very sharp Zhang early doors (as expected) and Joyce never really got going and with the 6th round stoppage we didn’t see him take Zhang into those deep waters. Being blinded by shots leading to the fight being waved off is what you get when you use your face as your main form of defence and move in straight lines though….
