    1) Trunks were high
    2) It was an uppercut, so the punch was moving upward, i.e. the impact isn't the frame where it first grazes the trunks but where it connects

    Shorts were high now? Lol. Any other excuses for a low blow? Uppercut that CLEARLY impacts below the waist band. Any notion that Usyk should not have been given the legal 5 minutes is fanciful bs.

    No, it is legal to strike anywhere on the body above the belt, arms, neck or head that is at the front or side. It is illegal to strike the back. However some punches are not effective wearing gloves, just as some punches are inadvisable if not wearing gloves - bareknuckle and gloved boxing are two different things.
