Usyk Beltline & Low Blow Controversy/Dubois Was Robbed! Dump Thread.

I felt the same at first look but after seeing all the angles its clear the thumb of his glove is on the bottom of the belt line and the rest of it below. Unlike a lot of boxers Usyk wears a low belt, you often see his navel where as a lot of fighters have it much higher, almost at the top of the abdominal muscles, like Naz did back in the day. This was an accidental low blow foul in my opinion.

1. "Every time." See, you are already lost. You already prove the agenda here. Because how can you prove this? That's right, you can't. Therefore it can't be refuted either. You are arguing like those cryptozoologists who argue "if you don't think unicorns exist, prove it" knowing full well that non-existence can't be proved. What I mean by that is the following: if I showed you a body punch where Usyk didn't complain, you'd simply say "that was not borderline", arbitrarily picking and choosing the criteria of what constitutes a "borderline shot" to fit your agenda.

2. "A vocal pro-Usyk crowd" - yes, this is a legit argument, since Usyk has fought so many times in front of his crowd, at home. It's not like that he has been a road warrior for a decade now, always fighting at his opponent's backyard. Oh, wait.

3. Yes, because these referees are scared to call things the way they see it because... Why exactly? Usyk's huge influence on the landscape of boxing? But I thought he was just a non-English-speaking foreigner who doesn't draw s**t and whom nobody knows. Or is it his known association with violent criminals such as his dad or internationally wanted mobsters? Wait, that's not it either. That's some other guy but his name escapes me now.

4. "If Usyk built a lead" - So all of your arguments are rubbish because even if they were true, they could only be applied for later rounds. You must have been really confused then when Dubois started to go for the body from the first bell.

5. Yes, this has been a common occurrence. Damn the rule to allow a fighter to recuperate after illegal shots, and especially Usyk and his five-minute breaks, it keeps happening during his fights! There was the Dubois fight where it happened after a low blow, and there were those other instances, you know... When exactly, at which fights?

6. Yep, those little fragile-minded opponents. Dubois, the most weak-minded HW active today, kept going for the body no matter what. Also, when has an opponent of Usyk ever been officially sanctioned for a low blow, ever? Nobody ever got even a single point deducted for anything like that in Usyk's professional career.

7. He doesn't throw dirty shots, what a sneaky, manipulative b***ard to box in accordance with the rules! Despicable.

Your whole attitude is reeks of your agenda. Dubois landed a dozen clean body shots where Usyk just took it and the fight went on as it should. You are simply clutching at straws here. As I said before, it's pathetic.

 

No, the rant AJ did was disgraceful, especially for a man who got dominated twice - taking the champion's mic and talking whatever... Usyk was quick to calm Dubois because of guilt consciousness, knowing that he should've been given a count at best. Telling Dubois "it's not ballet" is not even because of his poor English, just as the totally cliche "you can dream". But I bet some people on this forum took those as highly motivating wise words.

 

For Usyk that's a low blow because he gets that special treatment. For the rest of the boxers it's a legal shot. Any day of the week.

 

Clearly low. Learn the rules, doesn't have to be a direct hit on the sack. Pelvic area. Even if it was ruled a KD Usyk would have gathered himself & beat the count. Dubois got beat down.

1. I thought it was low, but not by much.
2. Usyk is vulnerable to the body. I know I'm Captain Obvious.
3. The wet ring was a significant advantage to the plodder Dubois. I believe Usyk would have won even more decisively with a dry one and maybe not have a controversial scare.
4. Fury has skill too (including footwork) besides his enormous size advantage (which he knows how to use). If he is reasonably prepared it's hard for me to see him not beating Usyk.

 

Dubois is milking the controversy to be a modern day chuck wepner.
Usyk definitly wasnt getting up though, was tweaking on the ground like a heroine addict.

 

Lets hope Fury himself believes that as well. Usyk looks slightly passes it as well. Now he can stop running and have the confidence to fight for undisputed. Even if its atleast a year past when it should happen.
