No, going from 12-0 to 0-12 is quite different than going from 6-6 to 7-5. 12-0 to 0-12 requires 12 rounds to flip, 6-6 to 7-5 requires 1 round to flip.
Hope it’s not Martinez just because GGG may be past prime, but he’s not that far gone. It will be a completely one sided annihilation. Suppose it’ll be a good pay day for Martinez though so would be happy for him in that sense.
What i think he is thinking and most probably feel similarly is there are reasonable ranges. For me, in the first fight the clear winner was GGG. Anything other than a GGG win is Travesty. I think the first fight ranges from 9-3 to 7-5 GGG, with the 7-5 being giving Canelo every possible round you can split hairs to give him. The 3rd fight is simular, the general public thinks Canelo won clearly, the consensus is anything from 9-3 to 7-5 for Canelo. Some blind Canelo fan boys having it even worse. I have Canelo winning 7-5 as did 2 of the 3 judges. One can make a case for a draw by splitting hairs,but that is not a good look, as the general public has Canelo winning clearly.
You make some decent points but in the second fight as much as GGG was coming on in the end part of it Canelo himself was dishing it just as much back to him & then some, It's not like Golovkin won all those last 4 rounds in their second bout & he was down by some rounds, that one was a clear Canelo win at least for me & permanently damaged & took what was left of GGG's prime there after.
I thought this at first, but after rewatching it, you can clearly see GGG landing a lot of heavy shots as the fight went on. There was one point where he landed 3 clean jabs in a row. Who else has been able to do that against Canelo?
