He has a great punch singular, his right. But he's not a great puncher.

I've been completely adamant that Wladimir is a harder puncher from the start.

Legit in koing carefully selected stiffs and shaky chinned "name" opponents.

Against top level opponents in their prime, it's not as legit.

The power is legit. The ability to land it is something that has been overrated. It doesn’t land on a decent HW.

Parker has been knocked out so I'd say yes. Certainly considering everyone tonight felt he only needed one shot to put Parker away, his power has been over rated.

I've always said he's not the biggest hitter ever. Furys been dropped by Cunningham and Pajkic before even fighting Wilder.
Bermane went the distance with Wilder in their first fight when he weighed 239lb. When he fought Wilder the 2nd time and was KOd in 1, he weighed 254lb and hadn't fought in two years.

Yes, his power's overrated. He failed to stop Stiverne, couldn't drop Duhaupas and failed to even rock Parker (who's been put down by Whyte, Chisora and Joyce). But it's also really good and has turned more than one fight of his completely around. So overrated or not he still punches like the clappers, and is definitely up there with limited one shot sleeper guys like Randall Bailey and co.

    Powerful? Clearly.
    GOAT powerful? No way.

Overrated? Given how many people have him in the conversation as GOAT powerful when I think he's clearly not, I have to say yes.

Did you watch the fight? Wilder barely landed a punch on Parker, was old and ring-rusty. There was nothing there to gauge his power on, let alone what his power and precision was like in his prime. The nature of his KOs suggests to me that Wilder had very good power in his prime, even if his opponents weren't the best. It does remain a fact that he never KO'ed someone known as having a granite chin. Ortiz and Fury were his best opponents, and both have been wobbled, dropped, and hurt in other fights against other people. Wach, Joyce, Hrgovic, Zhang, Ruiz, Usyk etc. would've been good tests of his power.
