I disagree with most of this post but youre spot on about the bad judging. JLC1 was a LOSS. Maidana 1 couldve been a LOSS also but a DRAW was fair. DLH also couldve been a DRAW but a narrow win was fair.

Bayless made sure mean old Maidana didnt hurt Floyd in the rematch too...in addition to picking Maidana gloves again lol

So when ppl say TBE I find it funny. Never heard a story where SRR had to pick an opponent's gloves, pick certain refs, needed extra/additional drug testing, couldnt fight certain guys from certain promoters. Those were all Floyd things...SRR just won. Period. Same could be said for Duran, SRL, Ali, etc.

Floyd's top 20 ATG though. Cant deny that.

Or maybe.....just maybe, and hear me out here.....he wasn't a very big puncher and his #1 focus going into every fight was to slip and slide shots?

Floyd knew all he had to do was be standing at the final bell & he knew he wouldn't be allowed to lose. He owes 4or 5 "winning decisions" were gifts from his friendly Vegas officials & the state commission turning a blind eye to his very suspicious actions

Floyd didn't carry his power up from 135 and didn't need it. He was a pretty good hitter in the lower weights and plenty willing to take chances as a younger fighter, tho.

I realize the OP is trolling, but I do think a lot of fans remember Floyd only at 147+.

Had less to do with his brittle hands,
& more to do with his brittle balls.
Money may was not a risk taker, with good reason too $mart for it.

Floyd did put Marquez down, and did have Cotto hurt in the closing rounds of the fight. Also hurt Berto with a counter uppercut in the final round.

I don't know if it was temperament/approach, or concern about his hands but even at 147 Floyd had enough pop that you couldn't really walk through his incoming.

His hand injuries were severe, he’s broken his hands over 20 times in his career from my understanding starting from the late 90s

Although I thought it was a cheap shot on Ortiz he totally deserved it for being a weirdo and apologizing for a headbutt he intended to do. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t agree with the foul but if you do it, own it! I used to like Ortiz but that was weak.
