If he had fought off the back foot and boxed instead of standing in front of a faster-handed opponent (like Thurman did against Pacquiao) and traded inside, it would have been a more competitive fight. That said, I liked how Benavidez looked at cruiserweight (a lot better than expected), and I would still favor him to win on the night.
No he is not. He fled 168 cause it was killing him to make it. 175 ruled by Bivol and Beterbiev. So he fled all the way to a weak and desolate cruiser. I enjoy his fights but he is average.
